HEALTH & SAFETY STATEMENT

At ACTIVATE we have made every possible effort to make sure our business is safer and cleaner for our customers & staff. We are building upon our already high cleaning standards and taking extra measures to make sure that high levels of hygiene are our main focus when welcoming our customers. We have made some changes to our business and have introduced extra measures to do this.

Some of these extra measures include:

  • Strictly following health guidelines set out by Failte Ireland and the HSE.
  • Providing hand sanitizer at entry points on our site.
  • Extra sanitising of activity zones and high touch points will also receive disinfectant fog cleaning, one of the highest grades available.
  • Removal of high touch items such as brochures and counter items
  • Increased cleaning frequency.
  • Enhanced Team Member safety and well-being with personal protective equipment and enhanced training and protocols.
  • We will only accept pre-booked customers at present and will review this on an ongoing basis.
  • There will be a reduced capacity to adhere to social distancing.

What we expect from our customers:

  • Respect social distancing of 2 meters from staff and other customers.
  • Face coverings must always be worn (As per government guidelines).
  • Have one leader from your group who will check in and complete relevant information
  • We request that guests pay with contactless payment where possible.
  • Not to bring any food or drink into our premises

Important

  • The health and wellbeing of all customers and staff is of the utmost priority to us.
  • If at any point you are feeling unwell or are displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19, you must alert us immediately, contact your GP, and prepare to return home immediately with your group.
  • If you feel unwell prior to your visit to Activate, get in touch with us and cancel your booking. It is better to be safe than sorry.
WHAT ARE THE NEW ACTIVATE TEMPORARY OPENING HOURS?

From the 2nd of September we will open Wednesday to Sunday 11.00am to 9.00pm Please note the following will apply:

  • SOFT PLAY 11.00am to 6.00pm (Please pre book slot)
HOW LONG CAN WE PLAY FOR?

Soft Play sessions are 1h 30 mins long. You will begin the session with one group and exit the centre after the allocated playtime to allow for sanitisation of the area, before another group can begin their playtime. Due to recent government advice we MUST ask adults and anyone over 13 years to wear face coverings.

Bowling will be reduced to 50% capacity per hour. This will result in 60 minutes play, allow us to rotate and clean the lanes with minimal disruption to play.

Climbing will be available to book in 75 minute blocks with 30 minutes in between each group to allow for cleaning and sanitisation.

SOFT PLAY

  • 11.00am – 12.30pm
  • 1.00pm – 2.30pm
  • 3.00pm – 4.30pm
  • 5.00pm – 6.30pm

BOWLING

CLIMBING & BOULDERING

  • Noon – 1.45pm
  • 2.15pm – 3.30pm
  • 4.00pm – 5.15pm
  • 5.45pm – 7.00pm
  • 7.30pm – 8.45pm sharp.
WHAT EXTRA COVID 19 MEASURES SHOULD I BE AWARE OF AT ACTIVATE

  • We ask that adults maintain a 2 metre distance and wear a face mask as per government advice.
  • We will be making temperature checks of every person coming through the doors at ACTIVATE
  • We have adapted our seating layout and have signage in place to help facilitate this.
  • We have always upheld the highest standards of cleanliness and have now also introduced additional cleaning and sanitisation in between play sessions. This is in addition to our usual rigorous cleaning schedule at the end of every day.
  • We have installed hand sanitisation stations dotted around the centre and ask that parents are vigilant with handwashing (for yourself and your kids) before and after entering the premises.
  • We will also keep a record including contact details of all adults and children on site at all times to facilitate contact tracing if needed.
  • Due to recent government advise we encourage adults to wear a face covering.
HOW DO I BOOK A SLOT?

Slot times should be pre-booked at 051 325097 to guarantee entry. Bookings can be made Wednesday to Sunday between noon and 6.00pm. There will be availability at door only if capacity allows. It’s essential that you arrive on time if you want to make use of the full time allocation.

WHAT ARE THE ADMISSION PRICES FOR SOFT PLAY?

Our admission prices for children are as follows:

  • 0 – 3 Yrs = €6.00
  • 4+ Yrs €8.00
  • To be able to stay within the specified capacities we would strongly encourage only 1 adult to attend the playcentre per group of children. There will be a €2 charge per adult. This is a temporary measure which we look forward to lifting whenever Covid-19 restrictions ease. Unfortunately as things stand, this is necessary to allow us to reopen within the restricted capacity.
WILL FOOD & DRINK BE AVAILABLE?

Yes. We will have a reduced menu in operation for the first number of weeks to allow us to find our feet. This will of course include our fantastic Tea & Coffee offerings along with our scones and sweet treats.

We would envisage this getting back to normal within the first 10 working days so please bear with us.
